Ashley L
BCBA

Ashley grew up in northern Wisconsin with very little knowledge of resources available for mental or behavioral health. In school, she had a great relationship with her 3 classmates who were on the spectrum or had similar diagnoses. She was often a peer mentor for them and wanted this to be a career. This calling brought her to complete her bachelor’s in psychology from Lakeland University, Master’s in ABA from Northern Michigan, and then her BCBA in 2023.

While at Lakeland in 2016, Ashley took an internship providing in-home therapy as a behavior technician. This is where she fell in love with ABA and the IMPACT it has for the clients and their families. At this internship she met Becca M, who would later introduce Ashley to IMPACT in 2022. Since starting in 2016, Ashley has worked in center-based and in-home based therapy. She’s also worked within the schools as a special education paraprofessional in a middle school EBD classroom working with high behavior students, as well as training community mental health (CMH) staff who work with adults with cognitive disabilities.

Outside of the office, Ashley is a big Wisconsin sports fan. If she’s not at the game, she’s watching it somewhere. Visiting friends and family, playing or coaching volleyball, traveling, baking, and exploring state parks are also top priorities.
