Waitlist Support Program

This short-term service is designed for families whose child is on a waitlist for ABA services—whether with IMPACT or another provider.

We meet with families, usually in a group setting, to teach the core principles of ABA and give parents practical tools they can start using right away. Families will learn:

• How specific triggers and responses shape a child's behavior
• How to identify what's driving challenging behaviors, so they can respond with effective, evidence-based strategies
• Practical tools like visual schedules and picture-based communication systems
• Structured routines to use at home
• Weekly activities to practice and reinforce what they've learned
