Vanessa completed undergraduate studies at Northern Michigan University. While there, she enjoyed participating in a neuroscience experimental research group and also played on the Women’s hockey team. It was there she dicovered a passion for Applied Behavior Analysis.
Vanessa earned her Master's degree from St. Cloud State University and gained clinical experience and her RBT certification in ABA doing in-home and center-based therapy. Vanessa became certified in 2021 and began practicing as a BCBA.
Since then, she has worked with a variety of clients, with varying ages and diagnoses. Vanessa has a passion for teaching children how to express their wants and needs and her favorite part about her job is family sessions. Vanessa joined IMPACT in the summer of 2024.
Outside of her professional life, Vanessa enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Vanessa likes hiking and camping, and enjoys going to the beach. During winter months, Vanessa enjoys hibernating and reading while cuddling with her cat.
